AOD Foundation: A Ray of light in the Dark alley

Updated: Jul 20, 2020

This is not to brag but in just one year, Aderonke Omo Dairo (AOD) Foundation has been making conscious efforts so far to achieve her set out goals of being there for the less privileged and giving back to the immediate community, Ibadan, where the patron - Dr. Aderonke Dairo had her childhood.

Okay, now we are bragging, AOD Foundation over the time concerned itself with: advocating against child and sexual abuse, human trafficking & police brutalization, health tips/advice, youths and women empowerment, free medical check-up and several other health and poverty alleviation schemes which include cash giveaway, donation of food items and hand sanitizers distribution to curb the spread of COVID -19.etc

It is worthy of note to also mention that On Sunday 14th June 2020, Dr. Aderonke of AOD Foundation championed a powerful petition against convicted rapists to call the attention of Oyo State Governor & Oyo State Assembly to more severe punishment for the crime. Over 2000 people signed this petition which when implemented, will ensure rapists do a commensurate time in the gallows when compared to the heinous act they commit.

Also, Dr. Aderonke had been on several platforms in recent times to shed more light and enlighten the general public about Rape. She had a Tweet Chat with @urbanculture16 to discuss this burning issue recently and was also on two different radio stations in Ibadan, Space FM 90.1 & Lead Radio 106.3, where she talked about rape.

With more programmes to better the lives of her community in the offing, AOD foundation is a ray of light in the dark alley that assures a better tomorrow.
